Eligibility will be strictly administered and enforced at all Teammate Basketball tournaments. Coaches are responsible for ensuring all players on team roster satisfy eligibility requirements. Teammate Basketball eligibility is considered “grade-based”, meaning an athlete’s grade will determine the division in which they will participate in most cases, however there are limits on how old a player can be for a certain grade, as well as exception for players to play down a division if young enough. See chart below.

Eligibility criteria applies to boys and girls teams.

Teammate Basketball has partnered with National Sports ID (NSID) to provide a safe and inexpensive way to verify your players. You can avoid carrying around your athletes’ sensitive information, speed up your team check-in process at events, & add to the integrity of youth basketball by obtaining a National Sports ID for all of your players. GET VERIFIED
